Yo, I am Mena Rhodes and I am a practicing artist currently living in Sydney. 

The medium of my works surround founded materials and exploration of my curiosity.  Art is only most interesting when it is created  from something that represents no-meaning and turned into something meaningful. something that serves a different purpose, used for my own.    

3am practicing on my bedroom floor, because passion doesn't sleep and confine to a certain space.

Inspired by artist; Jean-Michel Basquiat, Elizabeth Catlett and all the people before me and now, culture, history, afrofutuerism and contemporary occurrences, I am still being inspired everyday by changing period of the postmodern world . As a long-term practice I am simply am who I am and make what I make.
