Activate Your Menards Card: Online & Phone options

Activating your Menards credit card is the first step to enjoying exclusive savings and managing your account securely. You can choose between two convenient methods: online activation or phone activation. 

1. Log in to Capital One – Visit menards.capitalone.com or open the Capital One mobile app. Use your existing username and password, or create a new account if you’re a first-time user.

2. Find the Activation Option – In the app, go to Profile > Account & Feature Settings > Activate a Credit Card. On the website, select Activate Card under “I Want to…” in Account Settings.

3. Enter Security Code – Provide the 3-digit CVV from the back of your card to verify ownership.

4. Confirm Activation – Follow the prompts to finalize. Your card will be ready for purchases immediately.

 Online activation also gives you instant access to features like digital statements, payment scheduling, and transaction alerts.

1. Call the Activation Number – Dial the toll-free number printed on the sticker attached to your new card.

2. Verify Identity – Enter your card number, expiration date, and CVV when prompted. You may also need to confirm personal details like your ZIP code.

3. Complete Activation – Follow the automated instructions or speak with a representative to finalize.

 Phone activation is perfect if you don’t want to set up an online account right away, but remember you’ll need online access later for full account management.
