Youth Mentoring Program
Mission of the Program
The mission of Men Elevating Men Incorporated is to implement a mentoring program that provides young males with positive role models, guidance, and support. Caring and trusting Mentors will establish one-on-one structured relationships with Mentees focusing on the importance of academic achievement, proper social behavior, strong family values, personal accountability, and key decision-making. We will provide a safe environment with tools for success to ensure each Mentee reaches and exceeds their maximum potential. Instilling and motivating self-confidence and maturity in these young adults will enable them to transition into young adulthood and become exemplary citizens in our society.

Services
Men Elevating Men Incorporated is a nonprofit program that will provide Mentors and services to male youth ages 13-16. College students will be selected as Mentors based on their commitment and desire to establish a trusting relationship with each Mentee. These positive role model-students will be trained to identify the needs of each Mentee in the following areas: Integrity, Accountability, Decision-Making, Relationship Building, and Communication. Men Elevating Men Incorporated will require our Mentors to meet with their Mentee once a week for a 10-month period. Our long-term vision is to create a program concentrating on the importance of education and to expose youth to local and national business leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and other professionals. Most importantly, we want our youth to be civic-minded and have an understanding and knowledge of what it means to give back to their communities and to help one another. God has blessed all of us with gifts and abilities, and if we use them unselfishly and with a purpose, this world and our lives will be much better.
