Hi, I’m Yognya, a writer, editor, and storyteller passionate about creativity, culture, and the things that inspire me. I’m a huge fan of K-pop, and you’ll often catch me listening to groups like BTS, TXT, ENHYPEN, Stray Kids, Zerobaseone, ATEEZ, Boynextdoor, and TWS. The energy and artistry of these groups constantly motivate me to push my own creative boundaries.
When I’m not writing or editing, I enjoy watching anime like Diabolic Lovers and Brothers Conflict and watching movies that spark my imagination. Some of my favourites include Nezha Reborn, the Enola Holmes series, Telugu movies, Tom Holland movies, Marvel films, and, of course, the iconic Harry Potter series.
I’m also an avid drama watcher, with shows like My Demon, Vincenzo, Tomorrow, Little Women, Fermat’s Cuisine, and I Will Be Your Bloom topping my list. These stories, whether they are intense, heart-warming, or full of suspense, resonate with me deeply and often inspire elements in my own storytelling.
Regarding reading, I’m influenced by authors like Jessica Khoury, Meg Cabot, J.K. Rowling, and Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, whose writing has shaped my approach to character development and world-building. I blend these influences with my love for leadership, environmental change, and teaching to craft stories that aim to entertain and inspire change.
My dream is to study at Oxford University and continue to evolve as a writer and thinker, bringing fresh ideas to the world through my work. Whether it’s in a short story, an essay, or a creative project, I believe in the power of storytelling to spark conversation, inspire action, and create a space where everyone can share their ideas and grow together.
