OUR PURPOSE
To maintain interest in the welfare of Spelman College
To bring together former students of Spelman College at frequent intervals
To encourage individual and organizational financial support to Spelman through annual giving
To encourage young women to attend Spelman College
To promote the growth and development of alumnae through mutual aid and self-help, leadership development, and various cooperative activities
OUR VISION
The Memphis NAASC will promote, encourage, and streamline a culture of cummunity and sisterhood that provides outreach, scholarship, and mentorship by providing a pathway between Spelman College and the Greater Memphis area. This vision will be realized by providing mentorship to local students, scholarship opportunities for current Spelman students, coordinating volunteer events with the local community, and linking graduates and alumnae to career opportunities in the Memphis area.
