This policy describes how the Memory Words mobile app (“the app”) handles information. It is written in plain language for parents and guardians. It is not legal advice.

SUMMARY
Game progress is stored on your device. No account or email sign-up is required to play.
The free version includes Saga levels 1–5 and the Colors and Animals word categories. More content is available through an optional one-time in-app purchase (Super Parent Pack) processed by Google Play.
This release does not show third-party advertising in the app.
When enabled, word pronunciation uses your device’s built-in text-to-speech (TTS). Audio is processed on your device.
The app keeps a small on-device event log for debugging. It is not uploaded by the app.
WHO THIS APP IS FOR
Memory Words is a vocabulary game intended for children and families. A parent or guardian should supervise children under 13, especially before in-app purchases.
IN-APP PURCHASES
The optional Super Parent Pack (product ID: super_parent_pack) is a one-time purchase offered through Google Play.
Payment, billing, and refund rules are handled by Google under Google Play’s terms and policies.
We do not process refunds directly and have no access to your billing accounts.
We do not receive your full payment card details.
A parent gate (simple math check) appears before purchase or restore actions in the app.
Reference: Google Play’s billing and refund policies apply to all purchases.
FREE AND PAID CONTENT
Free download includes:
Saga mode: levels 1 through 5
Word categories: Colors and Animals
The Super Parent Pack unlocks additional Saga levels and word categories beyond the free content. Exact unlocked content is shown in the app before purchase.
LOCAL GAME DATA (ON YOUR DEVICE)
The app stores on your device, for example:
Scores, coins, streaks, and unlocked levels
Settings (including accessibility options such as Visual Learning)
Purchase state (whether the Super Parent Pack is owned)
This data is stored in the app’s private storage area on your device (for example user://save.json). We do not operate a cloud account system for game progress in this release.
LOCAL ANALYTICS (ON-DEVICE ONLY)
The app appends gameplay events to a local file on your device (for example user://analytics_events.json) to help improve stability and game flow during development and support.
This log stays on your device unless you delete app data or uninstall the app.
The app does not upload this log to our servers in the current release.
ADVERTISING
The current release is designed without third-party ads (no banner, interstitial, or rewarded ad networks in this version).
If a future update adds optional advertising, this policy will be updated and you will be notified in the app or store listing before such a change takes effect.
TEXT-TO-SPEECH (OPTIONAL)
When enabled, word pronunciation uses your device’s system voice engine. Processing happens on your device. Voice availability and quality depend on your device and operating system settings.
ACCESSIBILITY
The app includes a Visual Learning mode with on-screen text cues for gameplay feedback. This mode is intended to support players who prefer or need visual feedback, including many deaf and hard-of-hearing learners. See the in-app accessibility information for details. The app does not claim full accessibility certification for any standard.
INTERNET
The app uses an internet connection for Google Play purchase and restore flows. Core single-player gameplay is designed to work offline after install.
CHILDREN AND PARENTAL CHOICES
No personal account is required for children to play.
Review this policy with your child as appropriate.
You can remove local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
You can read this policy anytime in Settings → Privacy Policy.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy when the app or store requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Word pictures in the app use emoji graphics from Twemoji (Twitter/X Corp.), licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0):

The same notice appears in Settings. Twemoji graphics are not uploaded from your device; they are bundled with the app.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Google’s privacy policy and terms apply to those transactions:
