You may choose to sign in using Google Sign-In. When you do, we may receive the following information from Google through OAuth authentication:

- Cross-device progress synchronization

You can use most features of the App without signing in. An account is only required for online multiplayer features and cloud synchronization.

If you are signed in, this data may be synchronized with our backend services hosted on Supabase.
If you are not signed in, gameplay data remains stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

## 1.4 User-Generated Content
### Replay Videos
The App allows users to export gameplay replays as MP4 videos. Replay rendering occurs entirely on-device. We do not upload, store, or access exported videos.
### Shared Statistics Cards
When users share Brain Age cards or gameplay statistics, the images are generated locally on the device and shared using the device’s native sharing features. We do not retain copies of shared images.

- Provide gameplay features and progression

- Data transmitted between the App and backend services is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- Server-side data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure and PostgreSQL databases.
- Row Level Security (RLS) policies are used to restrict access to authorized users only.
- Authentication is handled through Google OAuth via Supabase Auth.
- We do not store user passwords.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

- Account and cloud-synced gameplay data are retained while the account remains active.
- Local device data remains stored until the App is uninstalled or app data is cleared.
- Multiplayer leaderboard and contest history may be retained for gameplay integrity and rankings.

Memory Lines is intended for a general audience and is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
