Hello and welcome to my website for Memory Lane Photography, set up and run by Jamie McElwain and based in Monaghan. I set up the business in August 2019. I have always loved photography and I wanted to take it further than putting the odd image up on Instagram. I now work as a freelance photographer, so I cover any event you want! I do:

STATEMENT FROM MEMORY LANE PHOTOGRAPHY REGARDING COVID-19 OUTBREAK. - 12/3/20

As the Taoiseach said this morning, we are now facing a pandemic, wether we like it or not. Even though we are not directly affected at Memory Lane Photography, we still sill be affected by regulations and policies.

As outlined in the statement today, all public art buildings such as libraries, museums and public exhibitions should be closed. As well as this, mass gatherings of more that 100 people should be cancelled. Therefore, I will not proceed with my opening night of the ‘My Place in History’ exhibition on the 17th if April unless other information is issued.

I will continue to work on my Exhibition at home, as well as my regular updated to the page. Hopefully this will all be under control soon and we can get back to normal daily life. This is a massive inconvenience for everyone and it certainly affected me in more than one way and I would not hesitate to believe it would have affected you in multiple ways also.

I will keep my Social Media posted and I will still be active as of tomorrow. If you would like to contact me, please do so through my Facebook, Instagram or email address posted on both of those pages. I regret the choices I have had to make, but health and safety must come first.
