FUNG AND FUNG INC ("we", "us", "our") built the Memory Gallery Home Photo app (the "App") as a free, ad-supported app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, collects and shares, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information processed only on your device

The App's core features work locally on your phone. The following data is never uploaded to our servers and never shared with third parties:

- Photos and videos. With your permission, the App reads the photos and videos on your device to display, organize, edit and share them, and to create Memories. Edited photos are saved as new copies on your device.

- Faces (People feature). The App uses an on-device machine learning model to detect faces and group similar faces together. Face data (face grouping information and the names you assign) is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not use face data for identification, advertising or any other purpose.

- Photo location (Places feature). With your permission, the App reads location information stored inside your photos to group them by place. This information stays on your device.

- Installed apps. As a launcher, the App reads the list of apps installed on your device to show them on the Home screen and in the app drawer, and to notify you after apps are installed or uninstalled. This list stays on your device.

- Settings and preferences such as layout, icon size, widgets and memory settings, stored locally on your device.

2. Information collected automatically

To keep the App free, measure performance and fix problems, the App and the third-party services it uses may automatically collect:

- Device and app information: device model, operating system version, language, app version.

- Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID) and similar device identifiers.

- App usage and interaction events (for example, screens opened and features used).

- Crash reports and diagnostic data.

- IP address and approximate location derived from it (used by ad and analytics partners).

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts or precise GPS location.

3. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:

- Google AdMob and its mediation partners (including AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, ironSource, Mintegral, Pangle, Liftoff/Vungle, InMobi, Chartboost, Digital Turbine/Fyber, Moloco, LINE, Yandex, Ogury, Bigo Ads, Start.io, Amazon Publisher Services): https://policies.google.com/privacy

- Google MediaPipe (on-device face detection, no data leaves your device)

4. How we use information

- To provide and improve the App's features.

- To show ads, including personalized ads where you have given consent.

- To measure app performance, understand usage and fix crashes.

- To send optional notifications, such as memory reminders (you can turn these off in the App or in system settings).

5. Advertising and your choices

Where required by law (for example, in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the App asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, using a Google-certified consent management platform. You can change your choice at any time in the App. You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads / Privacy > Ads).

6. Permissions

- Photos and videos: to show, organize and edit your media.

- Media location: to group photos by place on your device.

- Notifications: optional memory reminders.

- Request uninstall: lets you uninstall apps from the launcher; Android always asks you to confirm.

- Internet and network state: to load ads, analytics and online content.

- Default Home app: required for the launcher to work as your Home screen.

You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may stop working without them.

7. Data retention and deletion

Data stored on your device is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their policies. To request deletion of any data associated with your device, contact us at the email below.

8. Data security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, and data sent over the network is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to or opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us. We do not sell personal information for money.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
