Memory Chess (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a memory-matching game with offline play and optional online features. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you use the game.

If you use online features, we create a passwordless guest account. We process your generated player ID, session information, installation ID, chosen display name, selected avatar, platform, and app version. We use this information to operate and secure your account, preserve progress, and provide online gameplay.
We process matchmaking tickets, game state and results, rewards, missions, progression, virtual balances, cosmetic loadout, purchase entitlements, and related timestamps. We use this information to run matches, synchronize your progress, prevent cheating and fraud, provide support, and improve reliability.
Other players in an online match can see your display name, selected avatar, and match-related information.
If you buy an item through Google Play, we process the product ID, purchase-verification information, purchase status, entitlement, order reference, and refund or revocation information. Google Play processes payments; we do not receive your full payment-card number. We use this information to deliver purchases, prevent fraud, and meet legal/accounting obligations.
We collect first-party analytics only after you choose to enable optional analytics in the game. These events can include app version, platform, game mode, board size, match and reward outcomes, and technical error categories. We use this information to understand feature use, balance the game, and improve stability.
Our analytics event design rejects display names, session tokens, purchase tokens, advertising IDs, free-form messages, and device identifiers as analytics-event properties. You can turn optional analytics off at any time in the in-game Privacy Policy screen. Turning it off stops future optional analytics collection; it does not automatically delete information already collected.
Voice chat is optional and is off by default. If voice chat is enabled for your match and you choose to join, your microphone audio is transmitted in real time to the other matched player through our voice service provider, LiveKit.
You can deny or revoke microphone permission in Android settings and still play the game.
We and our service providers may process IP address, request IDs, service logs, security events, and limited device/app information needed to operate, secure, debug, and prevent misuse of the service.
We use information to:
operate offline and online game features;
create and secure guest accounts;
run matchmaking and multiplayer matches;
synchronize progress, rewards, and purchases;
detect cheating, fraud, and abuse;
respond to support requests and enforce our rules;
improve the game when optional analytics is enabled; and
comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
We share information only as needed to operate Memory Chess:
with other players, as described above, during online matches and optional voice chat;
with Google Play to process and verify purchases;
with service providers that host or support our game, database/cache, voice, and security services; and
when required by law, needed to protect users or our rights, or permitted in connection with a business transaction.
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app behavioral advertising.
Data retention
We retain information only for as long as needed to operate the game, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal/accounting obligations, and resolve disputes.
You can manage optional analytics from the in-game Privacy Policy screen. You can deny or revoke microphone permission in Android settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Contact us using the privacy contact above to exercise those rights.
You may request deletion of your Memory Chess account and associated personal data by using the following method:
We will delete or anonymize eligible account data and ask applicable service providers to do the same. We may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal/accounting obligations, or disputes.
Memory Chess is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use the game. If you believe that a child has provided information contrary to this policy, contact us using the privacy contact above.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. Production online communications are designed to use encrypted HTTPS and WSS connections.
We may update this policy when our practices or features change. We will change the effective date and policy version and, where required, provide notice or request renewed consent.
