Who was Colin Lukas?

Colin’s greatest passion was to fish and he would go fishing at every opportunity, he carried pole in the back of his truck just in case the opportunity arose. One of his joys, was to work on his various trucks and cars with friends and his step dad Dan. He also enjoyed taking the old girls out for a cruise to show his friends what american muscle looked and sounded like. He was a natural chef and prepared dinner for friends and family on many an occasion. He was a genius at cribbage and loved his evenings of euchre with the fellas. He was known for his work boots he wore them everywhere... he loved his Redwing's. They always had his size in stock in Janesville Wisconsin, he wore a size 15E.

In his short time here, he touched so many lives with his cornflower blue eyes, brilliant smile, bear hugs, and generosity. He was known far and wide for his wicked sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh and feel at ease. He was loved dearly by everyone who knew him and will be truly missed by many. To quote his cousin: "The world is truly privileged to have such incredible souls like you touch this earth, even if its for a short while. We will miss your infectious smile and your heart of gold. "Kelsey Lukas-Arneson

Colin was 23 when he died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in a tragic accident on I90 in Janeseville Wisconsin on his way to work in the morning. It was supposed to be his first day in a new position at Beloit Welding. Colin was like a comet in our lives, blazing so brightly but for far too short.
