We were pleased to host Prof. Min Sik Park (Kyung Hee University) and Prof. Jung Ho Kim (University of Wollongong, Australia) for insightful seminars on all-solid-state batteries. Their talks provided valuable perspectives on recent research progress and key challenges toward practical solid-state battery development.

Prof. Moon participated in the BRL Workshop (2nd-Year Midterm Review Meeting) held at Dongguk University. During the meeting, we reviewed the progress of the BRL project and discussed upcoming research plans, key milestones, and future collaboration strategies.

Prof. Moon attended Multi-scale Science and Engineering Symposium (MSE Symposium 2026), Weplace Gangnam, Seoul, Korea. It was a valuable opportunity to share recent advances in multiscale science and strengthen international collaboration between Korea and Taiwan.

My colleagues at SSND (Seoul National University) held a workshop and alumni gathering in celebration of the new year, focusing on the AI-based Mechanical Manufacturing Metaverse (Ai-MMM 2026).
It was a great opportunity to reconnect with SSND alumni, share recent research updates, and discuss future collaboration in AI-driven manufacturing and metaverse technologies.

Prof. Moon recently visited Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT) to give an onsite seminar hosted by the RISE Project Group. The talk, titled “From the Fundamentals of LIBs to AI Applications,” covered the fundamentals of LIBs, key materials and manufacturing processes, and current trends in EV batteries and safety issues. I also introduced AI-driven approaches for materials discovery and digital-twin-based battery diagnostics toward smarter energy system management.

Prof. Moon attended the 2nd-year Joint Workshop for the Materials Global Young Connect project, held at Kyung Hee University. During the workshop, we shared our recent progress and had in-depth discussions on future directions for collaborative research. We were also pleased to host Prof. Dong Jun (DJ) Kim (UNSW, Australia), and we explored several opportunities for international collaboration moving forward.
