WHAT TO EXPECT

🅿️ Reminder, the parking lot gets BUSY! TDA Families can park in the overflow parking lot to the right of the building.

👯‍♀️ Reminder, the studio lobby gets BUSY!... especially the first couple weeks of classes. Please limit the number of people who accompany you to the studio each week. We do have a livestream link you can use and share with family and friends so they can watch your dancer from afar!

👩🏼‍🏫 A teacher will greet you and your dancer and invite them into class when it’s time to start.

🎒We have two bathrooms located near Studio A. Please put your child's dance shoes on. If they are taking multiple classes in a row in the same studio, please send them in with their dance bag and water bottle. Otherwise you can store dance bags, jackets, and street shoes in the cubbies and on the coat hooks. Please do not leave them on the floor. 🌟PRO TIP: Make sure your dancers name is on everything!... shoes, dance bag, water bottle, etc. 

👋🏽 We encourage short, positive goodbyes before your child enters the classroom. 

🖥️ Parents should remain in the waiting area and can view through the viewing windows, TV monitors, or livestream link. 

😢 We realize that for some children, this may be the first time away from a parent or the first time in a dance class setting. If they are apprehensive or become upset and cry, we ask that you remain in the waiting area with them until they calm down.

🩰 It is common for children to watch the class and not participate much at first. They are taking in and processing everything that is new around them! This is normal. Each child is unique and will join when they are ready. We will not force them to participate. 

🎉 We encourage you to allow your child to learn at their own pace while continuing to praise them on their accomplishments!

👟 Boppin' Babies and Boppin' Tots parents must remove their shoes before entering the classroom and only one parent/guardian is allowed in the room.
