Mudlogger
GEOLOG International – May 2023 to March 2025
Improved drilling decision-making by providing clear, timely subsurface interpretations to the drilling team, reducing non-productive time and ensuring optimal drilling parameters.
Enhanced wellsite communication by integrating lithology, gas trends and drilling parameters into concise reporting formats used by wellsite geologists and data engineers.
Increased surface data reliability by maintaining rigorous QA/QC of sensors, calibration routines and data streams, which reduced reporting discrepancies and improved operational confidence.
Contributed to safer operations by identifying abnormal trends early (gas, ROP variations, pore pressure indicators) and escalating to the drilling supervisor proactively.
INTERNATIONAL DRILLING EXPERIENCE:
Offshore exploration well Mangetti-1X – TotalEnergies Namibia
Offshore development wells MNM 1-33 and Niamou marine-1 – TotalEnergies, Moho field, Republic of Congo
Offshore exploration well DBM-1 – BW Energies, Gabon
Mudlogging Training - Angola Base
Mine Geologist
Ship Copper 360 – March 2025 to September 2025
Established new underground mapping & sampling workflows, improving short-interval geological control and increasing ore-delivery accuracy to plant.
Identified discrepancies between planned and actual mine grades and implemented corrective actions that reduced mis-classification of tonnes delivered to stockpiles.
Introduced structured 3D geological interpretation integrating borehole collars, assay data and drone imagery to improve resource understanding and mine planning.
Set up new KPIs for reconciliation performance, and ore loss/dilution metrics, enabling management to monitor operational quality.
Aided Mineral Resource Management in establishing the relationship between specific gravity (SG) variation and copper sulphide ore grades, enabling more accurate density-based resource estimation and improved ore classification methodologies.
Supported the implementation and monitoring of a density-separation process for stockpiled ore, which resulted in a measurable increase in delivered copper grade by improving mass rejection of low-density waste material.
JUNIOR HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYOR (07/2022 – 08/2022)
INTERNATIONAL MINING AND DREDGING HOLDINGS
Streamlined bathymetric data QC & processing workflows that reduced post-acquisition reprocessing time.
Delivered accurate seabed models used for dredging route decisions, reducing survey redundancy and improving operational planning.
Enhanced communication between survey & geology teams by standardizing data exchange procedures.
Assist with general operations on vessel and participating in weekly safety drills.
TEACHING ASSISTANT (02/2022 – 06/2022)
