Terms of Service

"The author" refers to meltypen, the owner and publisher.
"Voicebank" refers to vocal synthesizer products distributed by the author.
"Character" refers to the design representative of the voicebank, both created by the author.
"Works" refers to anything created with the voicebank or character that isn't published by the author.

Atrribution

• When publishing works using any voicebank created by the author, you must state the name of the voicebank.

• When attributing the name of the voicebank, it is required that the official name is stated.

• It's not required to state the name of the author.

• Do not credit the author of the voicebank as anyone other than meltypen.

Usage

• Violent and sexually explicit works are allowed.

• Do not create political or religious works.

• Do not create bigoted works.

• Do not create illegal/criminal works.

• Do not create crypto/NFT related works.

Commercial use

• Commercial usage of voicebanks is allowed as long as the TOS is followed.

• Commercial usage of characters for music videos, comics, illustrations, merchandise, and doujin is allowed as long as the TOS is followed.

Character & Artwork

• Works do not need to align with official biographical information about characters.

• Works are not required to use the official voicebank character.

• Derivatives of the character are allowed.

Editing & Redistribution

• Editing the oto.ini file is allowed.

• Editing the audio files is allowed.

• Editing the .frq & .llsm files is allowed.

• Adding audio files to the voicebank is allowed.

• Using the voicebank outside of UTAU is allowed.

• Redistributing the original voicebank is allowed. (And is actually encouraged if the original download is unavailable!)

• Distributing edited versions of the voicebank and its components is allowed as long as it's stated that edits were made.

• meltypen holds no responsibility for any incidents, damage, or loss to the user from downloading/using the voicebank/character.

• meltypen holds no responsibility for any incidents, damage, or loss to any third party as a result of usage of the voicebank/character.
