Melora AI Music Studio (“Melora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Melora AI Music Studio collects, uses, stores, processes, and shares information when you use the Melora AI Music Studio application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Melora is designed as an account-free AI music creation application. Melora does not require users to create or maintain an account to use the core Service. By using Melora, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Melora does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address to use its core features. Melora does not maintain a traditional user account system for the Service.
Accordingly, Melora does not collect or maintain: User account profiles; Account passwords; Login credentials; Usernames; Account authentication information; or Profile information solely for accessing Melora.
Certain information may nevertheless be processed when you use specific features of the Service, as described below.
When you use Melora's AI creation features, the Service may process content that you voluntarily provide, including: Lyrics generation prompts; Music generation instructions; Lyrics generated by the Service; Lyrics edited by you; Song titles; Music generation parameters; Genre selections; Mood selections; Vocal selections; Language selections; Duration selections; Instrumental settings; Cover artwork uploaded by you; and Generated audio.
This information is processed to provide the requested creative functionality.
When Melora generates lyrics or music, generated content may be stored locally on your device or within the Service's storage infrastructure so that you can access features such as: Library; Playback; Favorite; Download; Share; Edit; and Delete.
The exact storage method may depend on the technical implementation of the Service.
We may automatically process limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service, such as: Device type; Operating system; Application version; Device or installation identifiers; IP address; Network information; Crash information; Error logs; Performance information; and Feature usage information.
Where possible, we use such information in an aggregated, pseudonymous, or otherwise limited form.
Melora uses third-party AI technology, including ElevenLabs Music, to provide AI music generation.
When you request music generation, information necessary to process the request may be transmitted to ElevenLabs or its infrastructure. Depending on the generation request, this may include: Music prompts; Lyrics or lyric-related content; Genre; Mood; Vocal preferences; Language; Duration; Structure or composition instructions; and Other parameters necessary to generate the requested music.
ElevenLabs' Music API Terms require applications using its API to maintain a privacy policy that clearly explains information collection, use, and sharing, including sharing with ElevenLabs and other third parties where applicable.
ElevenLabs also states that API use is subject to its applicable API Terms, Music Terms, Prohibited Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and applicable Model-Specific Terms.
We may use information processed through Melora to: Generate AI lyrics; Generate AI music; Process and deliver generation requests; Store and manage generated content; Provide audio playback; Enable downloading and sharing; Provide Library functionality; Save favorites; Support editing of generated lyrics; Maintain generation history; Monitor generation status and errors; Detect abuse and prohibited activity; Maintain application security; Diagnose technical problems; Improve application performance and reliability; and Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.
Melora may use third-party providers necessary to operate the Service. These providers may include services for: AI music generation; Cloud infrastructure; Audio processing; File storage; Analytics; Crash reporting; and Customer support.
Third-party providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services, comply with applicable law, or perform legitimate business and security functions.
Melora uses ElevenLabs technology for AI music generation. Information transmitted to ElevenLabs may be processed according to the applicable ElevenLabs terms and privacy documentation.
ElevenLabs' current Music Terms state that Music output may not be unique and may be similar or identical to output generated for other users. Melora therefore does not promise that generated music or lyrics will be unique or exclusive.
Melora may provide Library functionality for managing generated lyrics and songs. Where content is stored locally on your device, that content remains subject to your device's storage, operating system, backup, and security settings.
If content is transmitted to Melora's servers or third-party providers to provide a requested feature, it may be processed as necessary to provide that feature.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of content that is important to you.
If you upload cover artwork, Melora may process the image to associate it with your generated music. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use any image you upload.
You should not upload: Copyrighted artwork without authorization; Private images without appropriate permission; Third-party trademarks without authorization; or Content that violates applicable law.
Melora may allow you to share generated music or lyrics through third-party applications. When you choose to share content, information may be transferred to the third-party application selected by you.
The third party's own terms and privacy policy will apply to the shared content. Melora is not responsible for how a third-party platform subsequently processes or distributes content that you voluntarily share.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including: Providing the Service; Maintaining generated content; Maintaining application security; Preventing fraud and abuse; Resolving technical issues; Complying with legal obligations; and Enforcing our agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the way the Service is used.
Because Melora does not use a traditional account system, deletion of locally stored content may be performed through the application's available deletion features or through the device's storage controls, depending on the implementation.
If information is stored on our servers or processed by a third-party service provider, deletion may be subject to technical, legal, security, or contractual retention requirements.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Melora is not intended for children below the minimum age required by applicable law. If you are below the applicable minimum age, you may not use the Service unless permitted by applicable law and appropriate authorization.

Because Melora does not use a traditional account system, we may need additional information to identify the relevant data when responding to certain requests.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the application or another appropriate method.
The “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy indicates the effective date of the current version.
