Effective date: September 15, 2026
NoteScribe: Loop & Beat Studio ("the app") is developed and published by the app's developer ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what happens and, mostly, what doesn't happen - to your information when you use the app.
The short version: NoteScribe: Loop & Beat Studio does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no account system, no server, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything you create stays on your device.
We do not collect, and the app does not contain the ability to collect:
Your name, email address, or any other contact information
Your location
Your contacts, photos, or calendar
Analytics or usage data of any kind (no third-party analytics SDKs are included)
Advertising identifiers (the app shows no ads and includes no ad SDKs)
Audio from your microphone the app's "record" feature captures the app's own generated sound output, not anything picked up by the microphone, and the app never requests microphone access
Crash or diagnostic data sent to us or to any third party
There is no user account, sign-in, or registration anywhere in the app there is nothing to create an account with in the first place.
The app does store some information, but only locally, on your own device, using iOS's standard app storage:
Your saved creations — the melodies you draw, tap, or play, along with their key, scale, tempo, and beat pattern — are saved as files in the app's private Documents folder on your device.
Your Pro purchase status — whether you've unlocked the paid "Pro" upgrade, so the app remembers it between launches.
A couple of small app preferences — for example, whether you've already seen the onboarding walkthrough.
None of this is sent to us, to Apple's servers (beyond what's described under In-App Purchases below), or to any other party. It is not synced via iCloud or any other service — this app deliberately does not use iCloud sync, so your creations exist only on the device(s) where you saved them. If you delete the app, this data is deleted along with it.
The app includes a few features that let you choose to send your own creations elsewhere. We never see or receive any of this — it goes directly from your device to wherever you choose, through Apple's standard share sheet:
Export as MIDI or export as WAV audio — saves a file you can send via Messages, Mail, AirDrop, save to Files, or open in another app you pick.
Copy shareable code — copies a text code representing your creation to your clipboard, so you can paste it anywhere (a message, an email, a note). Anyone with the code can paste it back into the app to open that creation. This never touches a server; it's just text you're choosing to copy and send yourself.
These features only act when you tap them. We have no visibility into what you do with the exported files or codes afterward.
The app offers one optional purchase — a one-time "Pro" unlock ($4.99, lifetime, no subscription) — processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never see, collect, or store your payment or card details; Apple handles the transaction directly, and Apple's own privacy policy governs that data: apple.com/legal/privacy. The app only receives confirmation from Apple of whether you own the Pro unlock, so it can unlock the corresponding features.
Purchases are covered by Apple's standard End User License Agreement: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children either. The app contains no chat, social, or data-entry features of any kind that could expose a child's personal information to us or to anyone else.
Since all your data lives only on your own device, deleting the app deletes all of it — there is no account or server-side copy for us to delete on your behalf, because none exists.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does collect data — we'll update this document and change the effective date above. As of the date at the top of this page, everything stated here is accurate for the current version of the app.
