I am a cognitive psychologist with a PhD from Vanderbilt University.
Recently I was a human factors researcher in the 8-week Summer Conference for Applied Data Science (SCADS) hosted by the Laboratory for Analytic Sciences at North Carolina State University. I served as project lead and collaborator on several projects related to creating an ideal human-centered summarization and recommendation system for intelligence analysts using AI technology.
At Vanderbilt University I worked in the Department of Psychology and Human Development with Dr. Sarah Brown-Schmidt in the Conversation Lab. There I studied language production and memory, asking questions such as "what parts of conversation do speakers best remember?"
