Measuring Up Collection
This evolving body of work delves into the many ways we measure ourselves; against others, against expectations, and against the invisible yardsticks we carry within. What began as a mixed media exploration of body image in Self Image has since grown into a multifaceted collection that includes sculpture, jewelry, and paintings. Each piece weaves in the recurring motif of the measuring tape; a symbol of judgment, progress, and, at times, self-doubt.

Themes range from imposter syndrome to societal pressure, and the quiet moments of comparison that shape our sense of worth. Measuring Up invites reflection on the metrics we use and challenges us to redefine success and value on our own terms. Ultimately, it’s a call to stop sizing ourselves against others and start honoring our own personal growth.
