My roles:
Assistant Director (2016 - 2018)
Duties: organizing monthly events for high school and advanced junior high school students held at Dalhousie (organizing speakers, registration); organizing Discovery Days (outreach event coordinated through the Faculty of Science; junior high school students attend half-day workshops at Dalhousie); co-organizing week-long trips; administrative duties and taking on the role of program director in their absence; when necessary, trip outreach to elementary, junior high, and high schools in Nova Scotia, presenting mathematical concepts to students in a fun and interactive classroom setting, creating new presentations.
