Melissa Huggan

Professor, Vancouver Island University

I am a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Vancouver Island University.  

I am an adjunct professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland (St. John's) and at the University of Victoria. Find out more about graduate supervision opportunities.

From 2021-2022, I held an AARMS postdoctoral fellowship at Mount Allison University working under the supervision of Margaret-Ellen Messinger. From 2019-2021, I was an NSERC postdoctoral fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) working under the supervision of  Anthony Bonato. I completed my PhD in 2019 at Dalhousie University under the supervision of Richard J. Nowakowski and Paul Ottaway. Find out more about my education.
