I am an eclectic therapist who draws from various evidence-based treatment methods and theoretical approaches to tailor my work to each individual client. I primarily use an attachment-based framework, with preferred modalities including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and schema therapy. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) to help clients reprocess unpleasant bodily sensations linked to trauma and negative core beliefs.
Psychoeducation about neurobiology and its connection to emotional dysregulation is a key component of our sessions. I believe that therapy should empower clients to develop practical coping skills while gaining a deeper understanding of their trauma in relation to their behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. My approach is rooted in a strengths-based and person-centered philosophy, ensuring that each client feels valued and understood.
I provide in-person therapy services to clients in the Wichita, KS area. I provide televideo services to clients in the wider Kansas area.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone or televideo consultation session. During this session, we’ll discuss what you’re looking for in a therapist, your goals for therapy, and any questions you may have about the process of starting therapy.
