If you want a heavy-duty steel safety barrier that transforms your work van into a secure mobile workshop, choose MELIPRON Van Partition Bulkhead; if you need a streamlined roof rack solution to maximize cargo capacity on a G-Class without compromising aerodynamics, choose FOXEAZM Car Parts Roof. These two products solve completely different problems for vehicle owners who need organization and protection in tight spaces, whether that space is the cab of a Ford Transit or the roof of an off-road luxury SUV.
• FOXEAZM Car Parts Roof: Its biggest strength is the lightweight, streamlined design with non-slip rubber pads that protects the paint while reducing wind noise; its trade-off is its specific compatibility limited strictly to the G-Class W464/W463A models, offering no universal fit for other vehicles.
• Who it's for: The MELIPRON is for contractors and fleet owners needing a permanent, rigid divider, while the FOXEAZM is for G-Class owners looking for temporary or semi-permanent roof storage expansion.
The MELIPRON Van Partition Bulkhead is engineered specifically for the 2015-2026 Ford Transit medium roof in the 150, 250, and 350 configurations. This is not a generic piece of metal; it is a vehicle-specific safety system designed to act as a physical wall between the driver and the back of the van. If you are a contractor carrying loose tools, boxes, or equipment, this partition does the critical job of preventing those items from shifting forward during sudden stops.
What makes this unit stand out for daily work use is the integration of the swing-style hinged door. You do not have to climb over anything or dismantle the whole structure to grab a wrench or a box. The lock latch ensures the door stays shut while you are driving, eliminating rattling and unwanted movement that could distract you or damage the interior. Furthermore, the inclusion of clear acrylic window panels is a thoughtful touch for visibility. It allows you to see what is happening in the cargo area without sacrificing the safety barrier function, which is essential for long routes or when you have a passenger in the front seat.
This product is ideal for service van users who need a cleaner, more professional setup. It pairs well with shelving and ladder racks to create a cohesive workspace. However, you must be prepared for a serious installation process. The data confirms that drilling is required for a solid installation, meaning this is not a drop-in accessory for the casual DIYer. If you drive a low roof or high roof Transit, or if you own a passenger van, this item will not fit, so verify your roof height before considering this purchase.

In contrast, the FOXEAZM Car Parts Roof is a specialized accessory designed exclusively for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, specifically the W464 and W463A models from 2019 onwards. It serves a different purpose entirely: expanding your vertical cargo space by utilizing the existing longitudinal rails. The design philosophy here focuses on aerodynamics and protection. With its streamline modeling, the rack is intended to cut through the air, reducing wind noise and resistance that often plague aftermarket roof racks. This is a practical feature for anyone who plans to carry luggage or gear on the roof for extended periods at highway speeds.
The construction includes reinforced locking structures that claim to prevent sliding while driving, which is a vital safety feature when loading heavy items up top. To protect the expensive paintwork of your G-Class, the unit comes equipped with non-slip rubber pads. These pads serve a dual purpose: they grip the roof rails securely and cushion the contact points to avoid scratches. Additionally, the quick-release structure suggests that disassembly and assembly are straightforward, allowing you to remove the rack when you do not need it, which can help preserve fuel economy and maintain the vehicle's sleek profile.
This product is perfect for G-Class owners who need extra storage for camping gear, bikes, or luggage but do not want to compromise the vehicle's aesthetic or handling. It is not a general-purpose roof rack; it is tailored to fit the specific rail geometry of the modern G-Wagon. If you own any other make or model, this part will not be compatible. The "One Size" designation implies a custom fit for the target vehicle rather than an adjustable universal fit, reinforcing its niche application for off-road enthusiasts and luxury SUV drivers.

I would buy the MELIPRON Van Partition Bulkhead if my primary goal was safety and utility within a work van environment. The ability to separate the cab from the cargo area with a heavy-duty steel barrier provides peace of mind that no amount of roof space can offer. While the FOXEAZM is an excellent solution for a G-Class owner needing extra room, the MELIPRON addresses a fundamental safety need that impacts every single mile driven. Both products excel in their respective niches, but for anyone operating a transit van in tight spaces where cargo security is paramount, the MELIPRON is the superior choice.
