All students in the School of Community Resources at Arizona State University are required to complete 100 Career Field Exploration (CFE) hours. Below are artifacts that demonstrate how and where I am in the process of completing my CFE hours.
Working at Beginner's Luck (a homey, upper scale brunch spot) in Old Town Scottsdale was an incredible experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally. I learned how to bartend, improved my serving skills, and developed a strong understanding of wine and liquor. I also took on leadership roles by training new employees and helping create a supportive, efficient team environment. Serving private events gave me a glimpse into personalized service and what it takes to handle unique requests with care. This experience strengthened my adaptability, attention to detail, and commitment to providing exceptional service—qualities I’m excited to bring to my future in event planning.
