Students for Climate Action (S4CA) is a youth advocacy coalition that engages with elected officials, government agencies, environmental organizations, and other stakeholders in support of pro-climate legislation.

I created the first S4CA New York City-based chapter with New York Harbor School students.

NYC S4CA with District 11 Council Member Eric Dinowitz:
We discussed the importance of developing green spaces.

NYC S4CA with  District 3 Council Member Erik Bottcher: We discussed the Department of Sanitation's transition of the garbage truck fleet to 50% renewable energy by 2030. CM Bottcher agreed to bring this issue to the attention of the Committee on Solid Waste Management and Sanitation.

NYC S4CA with  District 33 Council Member Lincoln Restler:
We discussed CM Restler's plans for a carbon neutral district, which would be the first of its kind in the nation, as well as the climate road map to achieve a sustainable future.

NYC S4CA with the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia University:
We discussed the Climate Law Tracker and how it can be used as a tool to hold the City accountable to its climate goal.
