Meir Valman grew up in England where he studied history at the University of Cambridge and has had  a passion for the subject ever since.  He worked as a journalist in London before moving to Israel in the late 1990s where he worked in finance for many years, conducting research on investments. He later became the Director of Research at Start-Up Nation Central, a non profit that supports Israel’s tech ecosystem, where he led teams in producing insightful reports and developed innovative research products. He is currently a partner at an Israeli fund of funds and also works at a family office.

He has recently completed his first book combining his interest in history and his experience with Israeli innovation. Giving a unique perspective on this topic, he is excited to share this untold story.
