I am a conservation ecologist, focusing on local adaptation of various taxa across anthropogenic disturbance gradients. I use genomic, bioacoustic, and geospatial analytic techniques to expand our understanding of human-ecosystem interactions. My work does not employ the term "conservation" to separate humanity from wilderness, but rather to explore junctions of co-existence and mutual aid, in the past, present, and future.
