Innovation and Digital Competences in Education

In the days that we are living (tremendous digital transformations) Education systems need to adapt and to be flexible in order to create much more engaging pedagogical contexts for students and teachers, Due to this need teachers need to be aware of the importance of the Digital Competences to develop educational processes and methods that will facilitate students to acquire a important set of competences that crucial for the XXI century.

Digital competence involves the confident, critical and responsible use of, and engagement with, digital technologies for learning, at work, and for participation in society. It includes information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation (including programming), safety (including digital well-being and competences related to cybersecurity), and problem solving.
