I will be giving a keynote at a joint session between Journées francophones d’Ingénierie des Connaissances 2026 and Journée d'animation GDR RADIA @ Plate-Forme Intelligence Artificielle 2026 (PFIA 2026).
I am organizing "Symposium on Generative AI for Biochemistry and Health" on May 04, 2026 funded by Hi! Paris at Telecom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, France.
I will be joining Training School on Linguistic Linked Data as a tutor for Neurosymbolic AI in Milan, Italy.
Our article "It's All About the Confidence: An Unsupervised Approach for Multilingual Historical Entity Linking using Large Language Models" with C. Santini and M. v. Erp has been accepted in the main research track of EACL 2026.
Our two articles got accepted at LREC 2026:
"Analysing Lightweight Large Language Models for Biomedical Named Entity Recognition on Diverse Ouput Formats" by Pierre Epron, Adrien Coulet, Mehwish Alam.
"ENEIDE: A High Quality Silver Standard Dataset for Named Entity Recognition and Linking in Historical Italian" by Cristian Santini, Emanuele Frontini, Sebastian Barzaghi, Laura Melosi, Mehwish Alam.
Our recent pre-print "A Survey on Verifying Reasoning Chains Generated by Large Language Models" with Berenice Jaulmes, Jean-Christophe Arouete, Mariam Barry, and myself proposes a classification of the methods proposed so far for the Chain of Thought Verification.
My group has been visiting ESSLLI 2025 Summer School in Bochum (Germany), ECML/PKDD 2025 in Porto (Portugal), ECAI 2025 in Bologna (Italy).
