Mehwar Travels (“Mehwar Travels”, “Mehwar”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality and security of our customers and providing clear terms governing the travel services we arrange. This Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions apply to all customers, visitors, prospective customers and persons using or requesting any service from Mehwar Travels, including air tickets, group tickets, international and domestic travel packages, Umrah packages, visa services, hotel and accommodation bookings, transportation, travel insurance, tours, consultations and related services. By contacting Mehwar Travels, requesting a quotation, submitting documents, making a payment, confirming a booking, applying for a visa, purchasing a package or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
Mehwar Travels may collect information reasonably necessary to provide and administer travel services. Depending on the service requested, this may include full name, father's or guardian's name where required, date of birth, gender where required, nationality, CNIC/NICOP or other identification information, passport number, passport issue and expiry dates, passport issuing country, passport copies, photographs, visa information, contact number, WhatsApp number, email address, residential or mailing address, emergency contact information, travel dates, destinations, flight details, hotel and accommodation preferences, transportation requirements, number of travellers, booking references, payment and transaction information, insurance information and other information required by airlines, hotels, visa authorities, government authorities or other travel service providers.
Customer information may be used for providing quotations, processing bookings, issuing tickets, arranging flights, reserving hotels, processing visas, arranging Umrah services, arranging transportation, processing travel insurance, communicating booking information, handling cancellations and amendments, processing payments and refunds where applicable, providing customer support, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, preventing fraud, maintaining accounting and business records, resolving disputes, protecting our business and customers, and otherwise providing or administering the requested travel service.
Customers authorize Mehwar Travels to collect, copy, scan, store and transmit passports, CNICs, photographs, visa documents and other identification or travel documents where reasonably necessary to provide the requested service. Such documents may be submitted to airlines, hotels, visa-processing centres, embassies, consulates, immigration authorities, government authorities, Saudi authorities, authorized Umrah service providers, transportation companies, insurance providers and other legitimate travel suppliers involved in fulfilling the customer's booking. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all documents provided to Mehwar Travels are genuine, accurate, complete, valid and up to date.
Mehwar Travels does not sell or rent customer personal information as a standalone commercial product. However, travel services necessarily require information to be shared with third parties. Relevant customer information may therefore be shared, where reasonably necessary, with airlines, hotels, accommodation providers, visa authorities, embassies, consulates, immigration authorities, government departments, Saudi authorities, Umrah service providers, transportation companies, travel operators, destination-management companies, insurance providers, payment processors, booking platforms, technology providers, communication platforms and other suppliers directly involved in providing the requested service. Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by law, pursuant to a lawful government request, court order, regulatory requirement, fraud investigation, dispute, legal claim or other legitimate legal purpose.
Because travel services are frequently international, customer information may be transferred to, stored in, processed in or accessed from countries outside Pakistan. Such transfers may be necessary for international flight bookings, hotel reservations, visa applications, immigration processing, Umrah arrangements, transportation, insurance, payment processing or other travel services. By requesting an international travel service, the customer acknowledges that such international transfer of information may be necessary to fulfil the requested service.
Mehwar Travels will take reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect customer information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or destruction. Access to customer information should be limited to employees, representatives and service providers who reasonably require such information to perform legitimate business duties. Unauthorized copying, leaking, selling, forwarding, publishing, personal use or misuse of customer information is strictly prohibited.
Mehwar Travels may communicate with customers through WhatsApp, telephone, SMS, email, Facebook, Instagram, website forms and other communication channels. These channels may be used to provide quotations, booking confirmations, invoices, receipts, travel documents, visa updates, flight changes, hotel information, payment information and other service-related communications. Customers acknowledge that third-party communication platforms have their own security and privacy practices outside the control of Mehwar Travels. Customers should never send passwords, banking passwords, ATM PINs, OTPs, CVV/CVC codes or complete debit/credit-card details through WhatsApp, social media, SMS or other unsecured communication channels.
Customers are responsible for verifying official payment instructions before transferring money. Mehwar Travels will not be responsible for payments made to unauthorized individuals, fraudulent bank accounts, fake social-media profiles, impersonators or persons falsely claiming to represent Mehwar Travels. Customers should obtain and retain an official payment confirmation or receipt for payments made to Mehwar Travels. Mehwar Travels does not intentionally request banking passwords, OTPs, ATM PINs or similar authentication credentials for ordinary travel-service processing.
Mehwar Travels may retain customer information and travel documents for as long as reasonably necessary for bookings, visa processing, accounting, taxation, legal and regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, contractual enforcement, supplier requirements, legitimate business purposes or other lawful purposes. Where information is no longer reasonably required and there is no legal or legitimate reason to retain it, Mehwar Travels may securely delete, destroy or anonymize such information where reasonably practicable.
Customers may contact Mehwar Travels to request correction or updating of inaccurate personal information or to raise a privacy-related concern. Customers may also request deletion of personal information where legally permissible. Mehwar Travels may require reasonable identity verification before processing any such request and may refuse or delay deletion where information must be retained for legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, visa, immigration, contractual, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other legitimate purposes.
Mehwar Travels may communicate information regarding its travel packages, Umrah packages, international tours, visa services, promotions, discounts, seasonal offers and other services. Customers may request to stop receiving promotional communications. However, opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily stop essential communications relating to an active booking, payment, visa application, cancellation, refund, travel disruption, schedule change or other transaction.
Customers must not submit forged, altered, fraudulent, misleading or materially inaccurate passports, CNICs, bank statements, employment documents, photographs, visa documents or other information. If Mehwar Travels reasonably suspects fraud, document manipulation, unlawful activity or material misrepresentation, Mehwar Travels may suspend or refuse the requested service, request additional verification, notify the relevant supplier or authority where legally permitted or required, cancel processing where applicable, and take appropriate legal action.
Mehwar Travels may provide visa consultancy, documentation and application-processing assistance. However, visa approval is solely at the discretion of the relevant embassy, consulate, immigration authority, government department or authorized visa authority. Mehwar Travels does not guarantee visa approval, processing time, immigration clearance, entry into any country, length of stay, multiple-entry status or any other governmental decision. Visa fees, government charges and service fees may be non-refundable. Customers are responsible for providing genuine and accurate information and documents and for meeting all applicable visa requirements.
Customers are responsible for maintaining valid passports, visas, identification documents, travel authorizations, vaccination or health documentation where required, and all other documents necessary for travel. Customers must ensure that names and other details supplied for bookings exactly correspond with their official travel documents. Mehwar Travels shall not be responsible for losses, denied boarding, visa refusal, immigration refusal, penalties, missed travel, cancellation charges or other consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, expired or invalid information or documents supplied by the customer.
All quotations provided by Mehwar Travels are subject to availability and supplier confirmation unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. Prices may change due to airline fares, hotel availability, exchange-rate fluctuations, taxes, government charges, visa fees, supplier price changes, fuel surcharges, seasonal pricing or other third-party charges. A quotation does not constitute a confirmed booking until the required payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed by Mehwar Travels or the relevant supplier.
Customers must make payments according to the payment schedule communicated at the time of booking. Mehwar Travels may refuse to issue tickets, confirm hotel accommodation, submit visa applications, release travel documents or provide other services until the required payment has been received. Customers should retain official receipts and payment confirmations for their records.
GROUP TICKETS, GROUP AIR TICKETS, ISSUED AIRLINE TICKETS, VISAS, VISA PROCESSING SERVICES, CONFIRMED HOTEL BOOKINGS, HOTEL ACCOMMODATION AND HOTEL ACCOMMODATION INCLUDED IN ANY TRAVEL OR UMRAH PACKAGE ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE ISSUED, CONFIRMED, BOOKED OR PROCESSED, UNLESS MEHWAR TRAVELS EXPRESSLY CONFIRMS OTHERWISE IN WRITING OR THE RELEVANT SUPPLIER OR AUTHORITY INDEPENDENTLY APPROVES A REFUND.
Once any such service has been issued, confirmed, booked or processed, the amount paid for that service shall not be refundable merely because the customer cancels the trip, changes their travel plans, becomes unable to travel, fails to travel, does not use the service, changes their mind or otherwise decides not to proceed.
Where a third-party supplier, airline, hotel, visa authority or other provider independently approves a refund, Mehwar Travels may facilitate the refund in accordance with the applicable supplier's rules. Any supplier penalties, cancellation charges, administrative charges, taxes, deductions, processing fees or other applicable charges may be deducted from the amount refundable to the customer.
Cancellation, amendment and refund conditions vary according to the specific airline, hotel, visa authority, transportation provider, insurance provider, tour operator or other supplier. Certain services may be completely non-refundable, partially refundable, changeable subject to charges, or subject to strict deadlines. Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable terms before confirming their booking. No verbal promise of a refund shall override the written cancellation or refund conditions unless expressly confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Mehwar Travels.
Airlines may change departure times, arrival times, flight numbers, routes, aircraft, connections, baggage allowances or flight status without control or approval from Mehwar Travels. Mehwar Travels will communicate relevant changes when information is received and where reasonably practicable. Customers remain responsible for checking their final itinerary, complying with airline check-in requirements and arriving at the airport within the required time.
Hotel bookings are subject to the hotel's availability, policies and applicable terms. Room categories, facilities, check-in times, check-out times, deposits, taxes, breakfast arrangements and other hotel services are determined by the relevant property and may vary. Where accommodation has been confirmed and is designated as non-refundable, the customer shall not be entitled to a refund merely because the customer chooses not to stay, arrives late, leaves early or otherwise does not utilize the accommodation.
Umrah packages may include flights, visas, hotels, transportation, meals, transfers and other services depending on the selected package. Each component may be subject to separate supplier terms and availability. Umrah visa issuance, permits, accommodation, transportation and other arrangements may be subject to the requirements and decisions of relevant Saudi authorities and service providers. Mehwar Travels does not guarantee approval or issuance of any governmental permit, visa or authorization outside its control.
Mehwar Travels may act as a travel consultant, booking agent, arranger or intermediary for independent airlines, hotels, transportation companies, visa authorities, insurance providers, tour operators and other suppliers. Such suppliers may have their own terms, policies, cancellation rules, refund rules, baggage rules, check-in requirements and operational procedures. Where applicable, the customer's booking is also subject to the relevant supplier's terms. Mehwar Travels cannot guarantee performance by an independent third-party supplier and cannot provide a refund that the underlying supplier has refused to provide, except where Mehwar Travels is legally or contractually responsible for the relevant amount.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mehwar Travels shall not be responsible for losses, delays, cancellations, additional costs, missed connections, denied boarding, hotel issues, visa decisions, immigration decisions or other consequences caused solely by the independent actions, omissions, failures, operational decisions or policies of airlines, hotels, governments, embassies, consulates, immigration authorities, visa centres, transportation providers, insurance companies, payment processors or other independent suppliers. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Mehwar Travels shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, losses or additional costs resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including war, terrorism, civil unrest, government restrictions, border closures, pandemics or epidemics, natural disasters, severe weather, airport closures, airline disruption, strikes, political events, immigration restrictions, visa-system failures, cyber incidents affecting third-party suppliers, government decisions or other extraordinary circumstances beyond reasonable control. Any refund, credit or compensation in such circumstances shall be subject to applicable supplier policies and applicable law.
Customers are responsible for reading and understanding the quotation, invoice, itinerary, package inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule, cancellation conditions, refund conditions and applicable supplier terms before confirming a booking. Customers must immediately notify Mehwar Travels if they discover an error in their name, passport information, travel dates, destination, flight details, hotel details or other booking information.
Mehwar Travels will not intentionally publish passport copies, CNIC copies, visa documents, private addresses, private telephone numbers, payment information or other confidential customer information on public websites or social-media platforms without an appropriate lawful basis and, where required, customer permission. Customer information shall be used only for legitimate business, travel-service, legal, regulatory, security or other authorized purposes.
Mehwar Travels may request permission to use customer photographs, travel photographs, reviews, testimonials, videos or other customer-generated content for marketing purposes. Where permission is required, Mehwar Travels will seek appropriate permission before using such content for promotional purposes. Customers may decline such requests without affecting their booked travel service.
Mehwar Travels' website or digital platforms may use cookies, analytics technologies, pixels and similar technologies for website functionality, security, performance analysis, marketing measurement and service improvement. Our website or communications may also contain links to third-party websites. Third-party websites, payment providers, airlines, hotels, visa authorities, social-media platforms and other external services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and Mehwar Travels is not responsible for independent third-party privacy practices outside its reasonable control.
If Mehwar Travels becomes aware of a confirmed security incident involving customer information, it will take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to investigate, contain and address the incident and provide notifications where required by applicable law.
Customers should communicate and make payments only through officially published Mehwar Travels channels. Customers should independently verify payment instructions before transferring money, particularly where payment details have changed or a person contacts them from a new number or account. Mehwar Travels shall not be responsible for losses caused by customers voluntarily transferring funds to fraudulent individuals, fake accounts or impersonators who are not authorized representatives of Mehwar Travels.
Unless otherwise stated, Mehwar Travels' logos, branding, package designs, website content, marketing materials, photographs, graphics, documents, business processes and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Mehwar Travels and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or commercially exploited without prior authorization.
Customers may contact Mehwar Travels through its officially published communication channels regarding privacy questions, requests to correct information, data-related concerns or complaints. Mehwar Travels may require reasonable proof of identity before providing, modifying or deleting personal information. This is intended to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing or changing customer information.
Mehwar Travels reserves the right to update, amend, modify or replace this Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions when reasonably necessary due to changes in law, regulations, services, technology, suppliers, security requirements or business operations. The latest version published through Mehwar Travels' official channels shall be considered the current version.
If any provision of this Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain effective to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
These Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of Pakistan. Where a particular travel service is subject to mandatory laws, regulations or requirements of another country or jurisdiction, those mandatory requirements may also apply to that particular service.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions is intended to remove, restrict or waive any customer right or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If any provision conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory legal requirement shall prevail.
By submitting documents, requesting a quotation, making payment, confirming a booking, applying for a visa or using any service provided or arranged by Mehwar Travels, the customer confirms that the information provided is accurate and genuine, authorizes Mehwar Travels to process and share information as reasonably necessary to provide the requested services, acknowledges that travel-related information may be transferred internationally, understands that third-party suppliers may have their own terms and conditions, accepts the applicable cancellation and refund conditions, understands that group tickets, issued tickets, visas and hotel accommodation are non-refundable once issued, confirmed, booked or processed unless otherwise confirmed in writing, acknowledges that visa and immigration decisions remain outside Mehwar Travels' control, and agrees to comply with all applicable travel, supplier, payment, documentation and legal requirements.
For privacy questions, complaints, data-related requests or clarification regarding these Terms & Conditions, customers should contact Mehwar Travels through its officially published telephone number, WhatsApp number, email address, website or office address.
When submitting a privacy-related request, customers are encouraged to clearly state:
“PRIVACY REQUEST – MEHWAR TRAVELS”
Mehwar Travels reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where a customer provides fraudulent documents, materially misleading information, engages in abusive or unlawful conduct, fails to meet payment requirements, violates applicable supplier terms, or otherwise creates a legal, financial, security or operational risk to Mehwar Travels or its service providers.
Customers are strongly advised to read the quotation, invoice, itinerary, package inclusions and applicable cancellation/refund conditions carefully before making payment. By making payment or confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges and accepts the applicable terms and conditions.
