Welcome!

Hello! I am a Senior Member of the IEEE and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. I am also affiliated with the Ralph O'Connor Sustainable Energy Institute at Johns Hopkins University, where I serve as an Assistant Research Professor.

Using concepts of stochastic and global optimization, I am addressing various power and energy system challenges, including power system expansion planning, integration of renewable energy systems, zero-energy buildings, and the development of future electricity markets.

Currently, I am working on several projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation, the State of Maryland, and others. For a complete list of my ongoing projects, please click here.
