About Me

I am a PhD candidate in Operations Management with a minor in Machine Learning at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU).

My research studies novel problems in operations management that are motivated by availability of vast information. I model and study various uses of data and information in order to better inform management practice and policy, using tools from game theory, queueing, machine learning and optimization.

Prior to my PhD, I completed a BSc in Industrial Engineering at the Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey. Upon graduation I directly started my PhD studies.
