I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. Prior to joining University of Houston, I was an assistant professor at University of Miami, and a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT, Center for Transportation & Logistics. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Management from Jindal School of Management, The University of Texas at Dallas.
My research interests involve policy design for social goods, socially-responsible operations management, market design, service operations management, and supply-chain contracting. My work has appeared in leading outlets including Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, and Production and Operations Management, has received recognition such as an Honorable Mention for the POMS Humanitarian Operations and Crisis Management Best Paper Award, and has been featured in INFORMS Analytics Collections .
At UH, I teach across PhD, MBA/EMBA, and graduate programs, including Demand and Supply Integration, Executive MBA Supply Chain Management, and a PhD course on Game Theory and its applications. I also serve on multiple doctoral dissertation committees. My PhD students' research has been selected as finalist at the POMS College of Supply Chain Management Best Student Paper Competition.
I currently serve as an Associate Editor at Decision Sciences and a Track Chair for the POMS Digital Platforms, Innovations and Transformations track.
