CV

I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at  C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. Prior to joining University of Houston, I was an assistant professor at University of Miami, and a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT, Center for Transportation & Logistics. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Management from Jindal School of Management, The University of Texas at Dallas.

My research interests involve (a) designing effective policies for complex operational problems in service industries using methods in optimization theory and queueing theory, and (b) analyzing the effects of contractual agreements on supply-chain performance using methods in game theory and optimization theory. In my more recent work, I study the role of information, as a tool used by the governments in less-economically-developed countries, in minimizing agricultural open burning.
