At the end of my undergraduate studies, I was honored to be recognized as the winner of the Scholarly Research and Writing Award for the Quinnipiac University School of Communications.
A huge thank you to the Film, Television and Media Arts professors for granting this award to me, and a special thank you to Professor Mary Schmitt. My work in her senior seminar course "Social Impact Entertainment" pushed me to excel in research and writing. My final project (a full film festival booklet) gave me the opportunity to put genuine thought, research, and solutions into topics of film and media that impact me everyday.
