CONSTRUCTION
1.1 Material
o Jacket can be fabricated in stainless steel SS304/SS316 & carbon steel .
o Carbon steel are preferred for reducing cost. However heat resistant painting is required to avoid it from corrosion.
o Stainless Steel jackets are resistant to corrosion as well as have good heat transfer rates. They have much longer life as compared to CS.
o All Material Are NABL Certified 3.1 Tested With Chemical And Physical Analysis Reports
1.2 Connection Ports Inlet / Outlet
o Inlet & outlet connection are provided as per customer requirement.1/2” / ¾” NPT(F) etc couplings.
o Also flanged connections can be provided for high pressure ratings as per customers requirement.
o Jackets can be designed to cover only valve or adjacent spool flanges of valve
1.3 Range
o Generally operating pressure is about 10-20 bar(g).
o Temperature ranges from 200-350 Deg.c
1.4 Stiffening
o Dimple are provided on outer side of jackets for strengthening jacket.(image for reference)
o Use of Dimple Provides 10-12MM Hollow Space Between Inside Layer and outside layer Which Provides Uniform Flow Of Steam / Heating Oil With Minimal Pressure Drop
o Dimple Make Turbulance in flow by which Steam / Heating oil is spread all over the jacket part
OPERATION Principle
o Jackets work on principle of heat transfer by conduction
Function
o Inlet Ports are provided at top & at opposite ends for each half jacket as shown above.
o This triggers the flow of steam in opposite direction for both halves.
o Due to this, heating is uniform at both ends & through valve.
o No localised heating as like cast jacket as each half acts as independent complete chamber.
Other Special Jackets Are Made As per Client Requirements
Grounding rings are used to suppress electrical interference at the installation location for electromagnetic flow meters.
They are provided in pairs and are installed upstream and downstream of the flow meter.
grounding rings are flat wafer-style rings designed to be installed between an ANSI Class 150 flange and Class 300 electromagnetic flow meter flange face.
The same grounding rings may also be sandwiched between flange pairs located upstream and downstream of Electromagnetic Flow Meters. Use of grounding rings significantly reduces electrical noise and may be necessary for proper operation of electromagnetic flow meters installed in lined or non-conductive pipes.
The size of the grounding rings should always match the meter size (as opposed to the original pipe size) for installation with inline meters.
Standard grounding rings are for use with ANSI Class 150-300 flanges and are made of 304,316 Stainless Steel. ANSI Class 150, 300 grounding rings are made from Monel ,Hastelloy and Tantalum are also available for special applications

The flushing flange or ring is used for flushing solution combined with diaphragm seal. This type of flushing flange or ring is clamped between process nozzle and diaphragm seal. The reducer flange is used to mount a larger diaphragm seal to a smaller process connection.
Application:
The flushing ring is designed to be sandwitched between the process flange & the diaphragm seal. material collected in front of diaphragm can be flushed out through the flushing ports.
