About

Hi! My name is Meg Clayburn. I'm an illustrator out of Utah. I live with my wonderful husband and two beautifully chaotic daughters.  We are a Star Wars family so of course we have a puppy named Ahsoka.

I love all things frog and Peter Pan; Disney or J.M. Barrie. Drinking a Dr. Pepper brings me comfort and a night of board games with friends is my ideal Friday night.

My dream project is to illustrate middle grade chapter books. Similar to Wildwood or Spiderwick Chronicles; a couple colored plates and a bunch of black and white/grayscale spots and full page illustrations.

I have illustrated one picture book for an indie author and a bookcover for Pot of Gold Publishing.

My favorite picture book duo is Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen. I love the way Jon Klassen's illustrations play off of Mac Barnett's words to add so much to the story without saying anything. My favorite is Sam and Dave Dig a Hole.
