Philosophy on the Fringes is a podcast that I co-host and co-produce with fellow philosopher Frank Cabrera. Although there exist a fair number of philosophy podcasts, we found that many of them are either very scholarly and niche (and therefore only appeal to other professional philosophers with similar research interests) or else act as a kind of "introduction" to philosophy by covering standard and predictable topics at a popular level. Our goal with Philosophy on the Fringes is to do serious (yet accessible) philosophy on topics that are not the usual suspects of philosophical analysis. In short, by covering topics on the "fringes" of academic philosophy, we hope to encourage people to not leave their philosophizing in the classroom. We can--and should--be living philosophical lives!
