About the Artist

Hi, I’m Megan Jackson, an Iowa-based artist and the creator behind Megan Jackson Fine Art.

My art is inspired by the strange, beautiful, and sometimes unsettling relationship between humanity and the natural world. I love creating pieces that initially feel peaceful or familiar, but sometimes they reveal something darker the longer you look. Nature, wildlife, history, folklore, and the darker side of beauty all find their way into my work. 

For me, art is more than something beautiful to hang on a wall. It’s a way to tell stories, spark curiosity, and make people feel something.

I also believe art can make a difference beyond the canvas. A portion of my art sales is donated toward causes that protect wildlife, clean water, national parks, and the natural world that inspires me.
