This program was an idea that was brought to life by a few staff members. We wanted to focus on sharing our love of reading while promoting local authors in our collection. This program allowed us to foster a new waive of community members into our library.
When I was tasked with this project. I wanted to make something eye catching that screamed book club across all platforms. I focused in on using varying font styles to draw the viewers eye to the most important information as depicted by the font styles shown here.
This maquette was a final project for a stop motion class. When photographing the head, many of the heads recesses fell in deep shadow. Bring this project into Lightroom I focused on opening up the shadows. While toneing down the highlights to allow the details of the figure to stand out clearly. I also smoothed and edited the backround to allow the head to really shine.
This illustration focused on using the many brushes in Photoshop to create a variety of textures across the piece. I also focused on bringing in a wide arrange of colors to create deep and believable textures.
