Hi, I’m Megan Galloway, a GIS graduate student at the University of West Florida working toward my Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Science. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Natural Resources from Louisiana State University in 2022. I was born and raised in Louisiana.
I currently work as a GIS Intern with St. Tammany Parish Government, where I assist with FEMA flood zone mapping, spatial data updates, and map production for real-world planning and emergency management projects.
My interests include spatial analysis, environmental mapping, LiDAR processing, flood risk assessment, and cartographic design. I enjoy turning complex data into clear, meaningful maps that support decision-making and public safety.
This portfolio highlights a selection of my academic and professional GIS projects using ArcGIS Pro, Python, ModelBuilder, and ArcGIS Online.
