Portfolio Exhibit 1

This photo was created in Photoshop. I wanted to keep the poster simple, yet inciting. I wanted to use color to catch the eye. I put "step" in blue, as well as made it bigger font, because it is a big focus of the image. The boy walking up on the book steps was placed in his position based on the rule of thirds. I wanted to make good use of the space, so I had the stairs going up to the top right corner, and had the text in the white space on the left.

On Photoshop, I used the book steps clip art and then inserted the clip art of the young boy. I had to erase around the edges from the clip of the boy, so that it wasn't covering the steps. I then added text, and changed the color of Step, by taking color from one of the books.
