In my classroom, I want to create a fun and exciting learning environment for all my students to learn. They should be able to express their creativity and share with everyone in the class. With the support from all students we can create a place that is positive and safe for everyone. I want to spark the interest in all student to want to search for knowledge and create projects of their own. Whether that is conducting research on their own topic or presenting a project to the class, they should want complete all work with self motivation and drive.
I also want my students to learn about etiquitte when using technology in the classroom. It is important in today's society with all the social media platforms that exist to keep the students safe and have a positive experience while being online. It should be everyone's duty to be kind to one another when communicating or sharing online. The more positive experience the students receive from learning to be a good citizen online, the more they will want to engage in learning with the use of technology.
I would like to teach my students how to use multiple softwares that are prevalent in today's time. Technology has become such a useful resource to everyone that has the accessibility to it. With softwares constantly updating and changing, it is important that students are challenged to continue learning about how to use resourceful softwares that are consistenly used in school for assignments. This would also mean that I want to encourage students to learn basic skill with technology as well. Such as learning how to type on a computer, how to submit assignments on a platform, or even how to create power points to present to the class.
My goal is to give my students the knowledge, confidence, and creativity to perform well in the classroom.
