Safe search sites are very important to use with students under the age of 18. Flip should be used in the classroom as a way for students to share their work.
An example of a safe search is Factmonster.com It is very inviting and interactive. It also allows the students to pick a particular subject and has learning games. The games can be used as an incentive during downtime.
