January - May 2025 - Served as a teacher assistant for Sea Level Rise and a Sustainable Future Undergraduate Class at CSU for Professor Pat Keys (now at Boston University).
January 2025 - Presented an oral talk on the first chapter of my dissertation, "Assessing the Impact of Future Warming on Quasi-Linear Convective System Characteristics," at the AMS Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA.
September 2024 - I helped plan and participated in the VIII Convection Permitting Climate Modeling Workshop held at CSU in Fort Collins, CO. I presented an oral talk on my Master's work and a poster on the first chapter of my Ph.D. dissertation.
August 2024 - My Master's paper titled, "Impacts of Forced and Internal Climate Variability on Convective Environments over the Eastern U.S." was accepted for publication in Frontiers in Climate. Take a look here!
June 2024 - Volunteered to help launch weather balloons in the TIME-SLICE field campaign led by Brenda Dolan. This was in preparation for the INCUS Satellite mission.
May - July 2024 - Served a second time as a student mentor for Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at CSU in the Department of Atmospheric Science. This project was entitled "Integrating Inupiaq Perspectives and ERA5 Reanalysis Data in Utqiagvik, Alaska."
January 2024 - Presented a poster of my Master's work, "Impacts of Forced and Internal Climate Variability on Convective Environments Over the Eastern U.S." at the AMS Annual Meeting in Denver, CO.
May - July 2023 - Served as a student mentor for Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at CSU in the Department of Atmospheric Science. I overlooked a project entitled, "An Apparent Eastward Shift in United States Tornadic Activity."
March 2024 - I gave a talk at the CESM Climate Variability and Change Working Group Meeting on my work looking at future convective environments at NCAR in Boulder, CO.
May 2023 - Attended a workshop for the Future Storm-Resolving Configuration of CESM held in Fort Collins, CO.
December 2023 - Full Pass on my Ph.D. preliminary exam. Officially a Ph.D. Candidate! 🥳
August - December 2023 - I worked as a teacher assistant in the graduate-level Synoptic Meteorology class at CSU for Professor Kristen Rasmussen.
June 2023 - Defended my Master's Thesis titled "Impacts of Forced and Internal Climate Variability of Convective Environments over the Eastern U.S."

January 2020 - Awarded a travel grant from the AMS to attend the AMS 100th Annual Meeting in Boston, MA.
