Meet the Coaching Staff

 Rich Viturino- Head Coach

Rich started to coaching in 2006 with Weed Swim Club and took some time off from coaching to focus on family in 2009. He then took over South Siskiyou Swim Team in 2014 and help them rebuild the program from then just under 40 athletes to will over 80 and at times at 100 for a recreational program. He had changed directions and started Megalodon Swimming in early 2023 to start helping those who want to pursue swimming at a more competitive level with options for year round. He helped get Weed High School swim back up in going in 2018 and Mt Shasta High School in 2020. He has helped swimmers every year reach the NSCIF Sections meet while focusing on being a student first. Rich is one of 2 local Siskyou county Red Cross Lifeguard instructors and WSI. Using that training to help clear up and define athletes technique in the pool.
