MeetingCost Live — Privacy Policy

OVERVIEW

MeetingCost Live ("the Extension") respects your privacy.

This policy explains what data the Extension does and does

not collect.

DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

MeetingCost Live does not collect, transmit or store any

personally identifiable information. No meeting content,

no audio, no video, no participant names, and no page data

is ever sent to any external server.

DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY

The Extension stores the following data in Chrome local

storage on your device only:

- Your Pro license activation status

- Your saved attendee count and hourly rate preferences

- Your saved role breakdown (names, counts, rates)

- Your selected currency

- A history of past meetings including platform, duration,

  attendee count and calculated cost

  (Pro feature only — last 100 meetings, never transmitted)

This data never leaves your device.

MEETING HISTORY

The Pro version saves a log of your past meetings locally

on your device. This log contains: platform name, number

of attendees, meeting duration, calculated cost, and date.

No meeting audio, video, content or participant identities

are ever recorded or stored.

LICENSE VERIFICATION

If you purchase MeetingCost Live Pro and enter a license

key, the Extension sends that key to Gumroad's API

(api.gumroad.com) solely to verify its validity. No other

data is transmitted. This only occurs when you manually

click the Verify button in Settings.

PERMISSIONS USED

- activeTab: To detect which meeting platform you are on

- scripting: To inject the floating cost widget on the page

- storage: To save your preferences and meeting history

  locally on your device

THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell, share or transfer any user data to third

parties under any circumstances.

CHILDREN

MeetingCost Live is not directed at children under 13 and

does not knowingly collect data from children.
