Meeting Audio Focus is designed for one purpose: route the active browser tab's audio to a selected output device with local voice-clarity processing.
The extension captures tab audio locally using Chrome's tabCapture API, processes the audio in an offscreen AudioContext, and plays the processed stream through the selected output device using the setSinkId Web API. Meeting audio is not recorded, transcribed, or uploaded.
Depending on the features used, Meeting Audio Focus may process:
Audio stream from the active browser tab, captured locally through Chrome's tabCapture API.
Extension settings, including selected output device and voice mode.
A locally generated anonymous user identifier for trial and Pro status.
Trial, license, Pro, or billing status metadata.
Data is used only to:
Provide the extension's stated single-purpose workflow.
Process active-tab audio locally for speech clarity.
Play processed audio through the selected output device.
Save user preferences.
Verify trial or Pro status.
Complete user-requested checkout or settings actions.
The extension uses browser local storage to save settings, anonymous user ID, Pro status, and related metadata.
Users can remove local extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data in the browser.
Meeting Audio Focus may contact https://ext-api.ideaguard.dev for trial start, Pro status verification, checkout-related status checks, or product status flows.
Audio data is processed locally and is not sent to the server.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy or the configured payment provider. Meeting Audio Focus does not store full credit card numbers.
The product may receive limited payment metadata, such as Pro status, checkout status, product tier, or transaction status, to enable paid features.
Meeting Audio Focus does not sell user data.
Audio data is not transmitted outside the user's browser. Limited non-audio metadata may be shared with service providers needed to operate the product, such as hosting, billing, and Pro status verification.
Local extension data remains in the browser until the user clears it or removes the extension.
Server-side billing and Pro status metadata, if any, is retained only as long as needed to provide the product, maintain payment records, comply with legal obligations, or resolve support requests.
Users can disable or remove the extension, clear extension storage, revoke permissions in browser settings, or contact support for privacy questions.
