Meera collects, uses, and safeguards data when you use the Meera mobile application on iOS and Android.
By using Meera, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

When you create an account or use Meera, we may collect:

- Account identifiers necessary to provide authentication and access
- Chat messages and images you send within the app
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
Meera automatically collects limited technical data required for the app to function properly:
- Device information (such as device type, OS version)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens for notifications
- Advertising identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS and Google Advertising ID on Android) for ad delivery and measurement
- App interaction data (for example, message usage and feature access)
- Crash and performance diagnostics
1.3 Advertising Data
Meera uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads to free users.
AdMob may collect and process:
- Advertising identifiers
- Approximate location (non-precise)
- Ad interaction data
On iOS, advertising identifiers are only accessed if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. This data is
handled by Google in accordance with their privacy policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
- Authenticate users and manage accounts
- Provide chat functionality and premium features
- Deliver rewarded, banner, and interstitial ads to free users
- Determine premium subscription status
- Send notifications (if enabled)

3. Premium Subscriptions
Meera offers optional premium subscriptions via Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) and Google Play Billing (Android):
- Premium users can use the app without ads
- Subscription management (billing, renewal, cancellation) is handled entirely by Apple or Google
- We do not store payment or credit card information
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in
your App Store account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android).
4. Data Storage and Security
Meera uses Firebase services (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging) to securely store and
process data.
Security measures include:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Firebase access rules to restrict unauthorized access
- Firebase App Check to validate requests from legitimate app installs
Despite reasonable protections, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Notifications
Meera may send notifications related to:
- New messages
- Important account or app updates
Notifications are optional and can be disabled at any time through device settings.
6. Data Sharing
We only share data with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the app:
- Apple (In-App Purchase, App Store services, push notifications on iOS)
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, messaging, storage)
- Google AdMob (advertising)
- Google Play Billing (subscriptions on Android)
- TikTok and Meta (install attribution and app launch analytics only)
These services process data under their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
Meera does not share data with third parties for marketing outside the app.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to:
- Provide the service
- Comply with legal obligations
You may request account deletion at any time from within the app (Account → Delete Account). Deletion removes your profile, chat history, and
associated personal data from our systems unless retention is required by law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

- Request correction or deletion
- Withdraw consent where applicable
You can request account deletion directly from within the app or by emailing us.
9. Children's Privacy
Meera is not intended for children under the age of 13.
