MEENAKSHI SHEKHAR

Welcome! 

I am an Assistant Professor (Research Director) at the Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning (CAFRAL)—an organization promoted by the Reserve Bank of India. I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at Iowa State University. 

I am an economist specializing in Macroeconomics, Growth, and Structural Transformation. My research explores the dynamics of industrialization, productivity growth, and trade policies, with a focus on evidence-based policy recommendations for sustainable economic development.  Passionate for academic research, teaching, and policy analysis, I actively seek opportunities to engage in discussions on economic growth, trade, and development policy.
